$4,194.13 awarded to the Grandview Heights High School and Larry Larson Middle School Garden Club to create a school garden.

The garden will be an important component of the school district commitment to community wellness. Students will grow cafeteria-safe food for the middle school cafeteria, learning about the natural and social world around them and connecting with each other and the broader community. Grant funds will go towards purchase of Chain Link Fencing, Lumber and Materials, Soil, Tools, Winter Crop Covers, raised garden beds, a Garden Shed, a 40 Gallon Rain Barrel and a 37 Gallon compost Bin.
